Corporate Trainings with DV8Fitness

In addition to outdoor and personal training, DV8Fitness trains employees of many local corporations. Each class is 45 minutes in length. Classes primarily start at noon on weekdays, and each employee signs up for a six week session prior to the cycle’s start. The more people per class, the less expensive each registrant’s cost.
In a six week Corporate Training course, employees can expect the six basic Kettlebell movements, taught the DV8Fitness way – with pride in safety and form, quality over quantity.  Functional movement exercises will be added in between Kettlebell movements. Bells will be provided, and these are classes you certainly do not want to miss. Contact me for more details and a FREE introductory class at your location.

Group Training with DV8Fitness

DV8Fitness offers indoor group training at the King of Prussia Family Wellness Center (www.kopwellness.com), and outdoor group training at our main location in Wilson Park, Chesterbrook, PA. Wilson Park offers a variety of settings that are perfect for outdoor Kettlebell classes. During a typical outdoor DV8Fitness class, we move to different locations within the park frequently. Participants in my classes will never be bored with the same routine, or the same scenery.
Kettlebells are provided at class, but for those who have caught the fever and purchased your own, make sure they are properly marked as yours and bring them. ALWAYS WEAR FLAT SOLED SHOES TO CLASS. Leave your running shoes at home with that set of weights you never use. Flat soled shoes give you the ability to feel stable and prevent your feet from moving improperly.
Each class will cover very important Kettlebell concepts like tension, hinging, irradiation, leakage, lockout, taming the arc, etc. Simple steps that may sound intimidating, but are integral to the Kettlebell craft. All will be explained using hands on drills.
Anyone can attend these classes, at any level of fitness. I do recommend a private one-to-one session with me prior to starting any DV8Fitness classes.

Personal Training with DV8Fitness

I recommend every new client purchase at least one to two private sessions prior to group training. This will provide a great base for the client before entering a DV8Fitness class. You can also elect to arrange private sessions entirely if you prefer them to group training.
In the first two sessions, among other techniques, I will primarily cover the basics of the Kettlebell Swing, Goblet Squat, and the Turkish Get-Up (TGU) – a movement that is similar to a mini functional movement screen as it identifies the client’s weaknesses an asymmetries. The Swing, Goblet Squat, and the TGU are the three foundational movements to all Kettlebell training.
Workouts are based on clients’ weaknesses. We will focus on the form and quality of each rep. This is not a boot camp, nor is it the cookie cutter workout you will find at most training facilities now.
