I took a class with Phil in early 2009 through Main Line School Night (outside of Philadelphia).
He is an excellent instructor: he easily taught a class 10 newbies the turkish get up at the same time. Everyone had different skill levels, but Phil was able to cater to each individual and encourage them. At the end of the 5 sessions, everybody had a good grasp of the moves. Months later, I still hear him talking through each step in my head.
He will, very respectfully, whip you into shape.
If you have the chance to train with him, do - Even without kbells. I never thought that I could get such a workout with nothing else but body weight.
