After one of Phil's workouts I always feel like I have accomplished something significant. Be it number of snatches, swings, (deck)squats, pushups, situps or time spent stair climbing or bear crawling, Phil's got a great technique for getting his students to the next level. I like being pushed to my limits and Phil does a great job of it. Phil seems to hate any rep number under 20 and on Inauguration Day his new favorite number was 44! I especially like that he takes the time to explain and demonstrate proper form (sometimes over and over again but always patiently and with a smile). Overall, Phil is a great instructor I would highly recommend.
